Economic History
Students in this Specialization examine the economies of the past and how historical trends and events have shaped our current and possible future economic landscape. Possible career paths would include law school or secondary education social studies teacher.
REQUIREMENTS
Choose 4 from the following options:
- ECN 110A: World Econ History Before the Industrial Revolution
- ECN 110B: World Econ History Since the Industrial Revolution
- ECN 111A: Economic History (U.S.)
- ECN 111B: Economic History (U.S.)
- ECN 117: Economics of International Immigration (previously ECN 190 with Perez)
- Any one Upper division course from the History Major (must let an advisor know in advance)
If you chose to follow one of these Specializations, you will still need to satisfy the remaining major required coursework up to 44 upper division units. Please review the UC Davis Catalog for the Economics major requirements.
Please note, only ONE Specialization track may be chosen.
