Robert Feenstra organizes a very prestigious conference at the Bank of England

Robert Feenstra and Alan Taylor recently organized a conference under the topic “Globalization in an Age of Crisis: Multilateral Economic Cooperation in the Twenty-First Century.” It was held at the Bank of England on September 15-16, 2011, and jointly sponsored by the Bank and the National Bureau of Economic Research with funding from the Sloan Foundation. This conference brought together academic economists and key policy makers, including former heads of state, to discuss multilateral cooperation in the three areas of monetary policy, fiscal policy, and international trade policies.
