What do you do in your job? What is your work like?
In my current role as Strategic Account Director at Adobe, I help high-tech companies with their digital transformation and navigate the intricacies of generative AI for their business. My first job out of college was as a Financial Analyst at World Savings (now part of Wells Fargo).
If relevant, is your current job related to Economics and/or the skills you learned from the Economics major?
Yes, I have relied on the critical thinking and financial skills that I learned at Davis throughout my career.
How did your UC Davis education prepare you for this work?
My time at Davis taught me critical thinking and gave me the confidence to take on new challenges. My degree gave me a strong foundation in economics, while also allowing me to take a variety of courses outside of my major, including my minor in history (one of my personal passions).
