Paul Bergin is a professor of economics at the University of California, Davis. He also is a research associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research, a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, and an international research fellow with the Kiel Institute. Professor Bergin serves as associate editor of the Journal of International Economics and on the editorial board of Pacific Economic Review and Contemporary Economic Policy.

Research Focus

Professor Bergin’s research focuses on international macroeconomics. He is studying international price dispersion and exchange rate pass-through and monetary policy in an open economy.

Teaching

Paul Bergin teaches in the areas of international macroeconomics and macroeconomics. His courses include Intermediate Macro Theory (Economics 101) and International Macroeconomics (Economics 160b and 260b).
