Professor and Chair of the Economics Department, Giovanni Peri, was interviewed by the BBC about the costs and benefits of immigration. Peri explains that while undocumented workers may be substitutes for domestic workers, there are circumstances where undocumented workers may complement domestic workers and that the net effect of undocumented workers on the economy is likely positive.
