Description

This course explores the ingenuity behind the diverse policy paths that different countries in the region took to build thriving economies after the tumult of the world wars and examines how the legacies of these choices are shaping current policy, for better or for worse. The class uses a variety of readings, discussion-intensive sections, and a group project so that participants have the opportunity to experiment with new ideas and learn from each other.
